Default Post-Nuclear Suvivalist Patriot Guerilla Bicyclists

Due to my debauched condition with a trache in my throat, going on 3 1/2 years and with reconstructive work still planned, I decided to look into joining the hordes of yuppie-types I have biking about the general neighborhood. I otherwise don't drive due to an expired license and while this has wrecked skeet & trap shooting (or shooting anything else) it did save a lot of expense which is spent on Really Good Stuff.

I have a well developed sense of military national-disaster-on-the-horizon which is backed up with internal Catholic religious prophesy. Therefore I am planning long run plans for someone on my property, if I am not alive at that time, to be able to probably survive the worst whether a short nuclear war or comet strikes, etc. One of the things that will occur is a lack of fuel or even passable roads. An appropriate mountain bike or somesuch which can carry a load is necessary. The equipment already exists and some foreign or locally custom made stuff is excellent. I picked up a couple cyclist mags and found quickly the people who publish them and many of their supporters and hard core contributors are not exactly Outlaws, DC Eagles or Nightriders. These are not Easyrider magazines. A good portion of their following are benign bike twits. This got me into the idea of publishing a few consecutive semi-commercial issues of a survival "biker" magazine which would have all the usual geo-political stuff, and a couple story lines in comic book form of pedal powered light cavalry guerillas harassing the Mongol hordes in their rear areas outside San Fagcisco. There would be a story line for radioactive mutant zombies, of course, and various bike cavalry versus bike cavalry battles. This would be hilarious and probably cause more than a few mental seizures among the local yuppie-twit population. Wish I had time for it.

I just like to keep up with the latest in these things. According to reports ol' timey bomb shelters are making a comeback. One article mentioned quite a few were built by the government in odd locations and some can hold up to 13,000 people. Some guy is refurbishing the things.

Anyway, with the Crown Prince of Brown Clowns settling Marxist scores with America, we have this nation scheduled for a serious de-nuking of our warheads, delivery, and defensive systems. In due course that means inviting a short nuclear war which we will lose. After all, this nation is coming to stand for nothing as evidenced by the scum and whores which are elected into Congress and the presidency. Ergo, there is nothing to fight for except porn, neccid and socialism. So why fight if your enemies offer you the same ultimate ending? And fight with what and be led by whom? The latest presidential assault on the military is to butter it over with squealing faggots and to continue the menstrualization of the navy by stuffing females into submarines. The fact that this didn't cause tanks to go crashing through the White House gates is an indication of how low this nation has sunk.

Someone will survive all this but how many depends on their preparation. This means planning ahead a decade or more since these things take time to work out on a national level. It takes a state of readiness on the part of the population which wants to survive.

Just some things to throw into the mix to get a likely time when some of these things may happen. Popular readings indicate Iran will have nuclear weapons sometime soon. North Korea, which does have a couple, is making threatening noises about military actions against South Korea (as usual) but did sink a South Korean destroyer. China is making unfavorable comments about naval exercises in the Pacific and will likely be in a tag team with North Korea. Popular accounts show a Chinese offensive naval capability against our naval fleet capability in their waters. We are assisting Viet Nam (in planning anyway) with nuclear research on the development of "peaceful" nuclear power. Ha! The Vietnamese have a problem with China and visa-versa. Historically they were occupied by the Chinese for a long time. The other Asian nations must also look over their shoulders, particularly Japan. In due course, and this will take a few years, someone will try to pull a military action, which like the destroyer sinking, can be denied by the ones who did it.

In the other lunatic hell hole, the Middle east, it's a question of who attacks whom first. The Iranians could nuke Iraq where there is a concentration of American forces. The issue is that our enemies may pull something major which can spiral out of control under the non-leadership of Nobama. He may be gone by 2012 (we all hope) so realizing that our enemies must strike while the iron is hot. On the other hand some of them may wait until they have a larger missile capability. Eventually this country is going to be nuked even if just with a dirty bomb.

I happened to look up some videos on mountain bike competitions. Those things have quite a bit of rough country capability. I saw loonies drop about 12' off a building railing down onto a staircase, bounce nicely, and recover. Long ramp launches and steep drops onto hard surfaces are practical for trained bikers. The Viet Cong and North Vietnamese used them as carts to carry supplies down their trails. A couple of those with transmissions up to 27 speeds plus spare wheels for terrain would provide quiet innocuous travel. Gas doesn't have to be an issue. It's possible to get some mail order machines from discounters quite cheaply - and I mean first line quality stuff. I have one myself and I live in the city. This should be a part of any survival planning.
