Thumbs up Magical Merlin can load!

I got a chance to fire some .300 WSM ammo loaded by ol' "Magical Merlin" today... Good Grief! Three shots, one hole. With a 190 gr Berger VLD from a nice, factory barreled Winchester Model 70.

Dang. My salute to a builder of fine ammunition!

Regards, Guy

I have no doubt Merlin is a master loader but me thinks you're being a bit too humble here.

Seems like some wise old shooter once said..."It's the shooter, not the gun."...or something like that.

I second what RGraff said.

It's usually the nut behind the trigger......

Yea....this statement coming from a "HighMaster".......Marine Corp SS Trainer....your going to have to try and sell your load of Horse Hockey elsewhere Guy!

it would take somebody like "me" to prove his stuff works....not somebody who can do it with factory stuff like you!!!

(ok folks, heres where everyone else "dog-piles" on Guy! Kinda' a Celebrity Roast)

I agree Toes, there is no way we can trust results obtained by Guy. Must all be inward flyers! The only solution is for Merlin to supply us with a very large quantity of the same equipment and ammo to get a "real" test of it. Supprised Guy didn't break anything... you know those Marines!

ABSOLUTE Full agreement here!

The only way to have "Honest" un-biased results would be to send "Me" AND Aaron about 1500 rounds apiece!

Don't think Guy told us about the stuff he broke.....

Dunnnooo there Monte.....just shot me-self a 1.676" group at 400 yards with 52 grain SMK's out of me own Remmy left-handed .223 VS with an old harris by-pod and my hand for the rear bag. That poor old factory barreled thing....don't think it could keep up with that hubble scoped beastie of yours! Mine only has a Luppy 3.5-10 powered M3 with a 40mm objective...and I did it a couple of times in front of witnesses....dang me!

Don't want to see some pics, does 'ya???

OK, you gots me....your group IS a bit smaller, but you had to work harder for it! (smart aleck wife tells me "I" had to work harder....some help she is!).

I've been thinking....now, first we have M700 talking about how MM can load (nuthin' personal Merlin!), with HIS background....then we have Monte on board....F Class World Champion and all.....it just don't show the full measure of the quality ammo that Magical Merlin can build...next we're going to hear from David Tubb telling us the same thing.
I still think the plan of me and Mr. Hintz getting 1500 rounds a piece, with rifles capable of squeezing every grain of accuracy out of 'em, IS the ONLY answer to this Math Problem!!

Nice shooting guys!
